About Me
In 2003 I grew extremely tired of working as an employee; I felt frustrated and stifled, unable to be as creative and autonomous as I would like to be, so I decided that there was no better time like the present to do something that better suited me.
In the spring of 2003 I took some virtual assistance training to learn how to transform my many and varied office skills from office worker to virtual assistant. It was the ideal solution for someone like me, who loved the mileau and some of the work that I’d been doing for years, but who also wanted to expand and provide services that were unique and valued. So, I created Healer’s Helper, using the tag line, “Virtually Restoring Balance, One Task at a Time.” It felt perfect.
Over time I have worked with a psychiatrist in New York, a mental health therapist in New Jersey, a grad student in Vancouver, Washington, a writer in Arizona, and a host of other very interesting clients who were primarily behavioral health practitioners. I am choosy about who I partner with, and I prefer not to have many clients at once so that each of my clients gets the individual, personalized assistance that they need.
In my ‘other’ life I am a registered consulting hypnotist with a part time practice.
Being an entrepreneur suits me very well. As a virtual assistant I get to stretch and flex my left brain, and as a hypnotist I use the right side. I couldn’t ask for a better way to stay balanced!

nice profile.
